Levenshulme Old Library

Levenshulme Old Library is a former Carnegie Library building in my neighbourhood which I now run as a community arts centre.

The library was built in 1904 and served the local community for over 100 years, until it was closed down during the austerity years. This resulted in a wave of local protest and a group of residents came together with a plan to take on the building and turn it into a community arts centre.
