Bus Station: Unbound is an interactive novel by Richard V. Hirst and Jenn Ashworth, originally published online in 2015.

Set in and around Preston Bus Station, the story allows readers to navigate a web of interconnected stories, exploring one of Britain's most iconic Brutalist buildings from multiple perspectives.

Each choice opens up new routes through the station and the lives that pass through it. This is an enormous piece of writing with a large number of details which shift with each reading, making each trip to the bus station unique.

Following the closure of the platform on which it was originally published, the project was lost for a number of years. After much work, this restored edition was recovered from web archives and republished in 2026.
